Here’s a simplified step-by-step setup guide for Goldshell AE BOX series to mine ALEO:
Before setup, you have to prepare below:
1. A 6pin power supply (⚠️Note: Non-“PLUS” models do NOT include a PSU.) There are two options:
ATX power supply
- HP server power supply
2. 6 pin power connectors
3. Supported to accept ALEO wallet (eg: Leo wallet)
4. Mining pool (eg: F2poolor Dxpool)
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
Step 1: Unbox and Connect Hardware
- Correct with 6pins power supply.
- Network Connection: First to connect via Ethernet cable to finish setup later can use Wi-Fi mode.
Step 2: Find the Miner’s IP Address
Use computer to note the miner’s IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.100).
Step 3: Access the Miner’s Dashboard
- Open a web browser and copy the miner’s IP address into the address bar.
- Log in with the default credentials:
– Username: admin
– Password: admin
Step 4: Configure Mining Pool and Wallet
- Go to **Miner Configuration** > **Pool Settings**.
- Add your ALEO mining pool details & wallet:
– Pool URL: Enter the pool’s address (e.g., `stratum+tcp://aleo.pool.example.com`).
– Miner name: Your wallet address
– Worker Name: Optional (can leave blank or name your device).
Step 5: Start Mining!
- Click Apply to confirm settings.
- You may need to restart, go to system to restart it and setup Wifi if you need. The miner will begin mining.
Step 6: Verify Operation
- Return to the dashboard’s Status page to check.
- Copy your wallet address and then go to pool to check miner status.
Your Goldshell AE BOX is now mining ALEO. Monitor earnings via your mining pool’s dashboard.
